SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
A Poem
Beautiful memories of a clear and sober mind.
Whisper to you, making you grin like a fool.
That fresh, cooling, sweet-scented breeze.
The morning by the ocean
As you peer through the lattice of a clear glass window.
There, look!
A ravishing she-goat, walking down the hill by the east wing,
Reflected in the bedazzling rays of sunrise.
You stare, mouth wide open, flabbergasted.
Chills run down your spine.
The urges swell.
Your chin twitches, your eyes rove, your face glows.
She looks up.
Your eyes meet.
A dimple on her cheek, her teeth milk-white.
Yes, she smiles.
Your system deranged, butterflies, sparks,
Moments you wish you could freeze for a lifetime.
She winks!
Down the stairs you rush.
Heart pounding like that Usher Raymond song.
She waits, patiently, on a rock watching the waves.
She turns, now you gaze, now a closer gaze.
She charms you with her enchanting eyes.
A fresh apple scent in her utterance hits you.
So hard, you’re in a frenzy.
She unveils her soft skin,
Wears her birthday suit.
You gulp, almost choke on saliva, or air, or something.
‘So perfectly curved’, your heart says quietly.
Every inch of you is boisterous.
She walks to the ocean.
You follow, you must taste that.
These are the moonlit moments, star-woven.
You can’t blink and miss even one.
At the beach, your skins briefly touch.
The air is cold.
The water is warm.
Her skin, lukewarm.
She lies down,
Water hitting her soft skin,
Sand never letting go of her back.
You kneel by her perfectly curved legs… then—
Then, the alarm rings.
Time to get up, go to your boring, routine job.
Urgh!
